Viṭṭhala was standing on the brick (on earth) for ages,
On His left side was His consort Rukmiṇī, this is a beautiful divine sight,
Because the ultimate truth (Parabrahman) has come to meet Puṇḍālika,
Near God’s feet, the river Bhīmā is flowing purifying the world||1||
Praise the Lord, praise Pāṇḍuraṅga, beloved of Rakhumāī and Rāī, O Lord! bless us who are dear to You.॥धृ०॥
He wears a garland of Tulasī, His hands are on his waist,
He adorns a yellow robe and a tilaka (auspicious mark on the forehead) of kastūri (musk),
All the Gods who come to visit Him,
Garuḍa and Hanumān wait upon him. ||2||
Praise the Lord, praise Pāṇḍuraṅga, beloved of Rakhumāī and Rāī, O Lord! bless us who are dear to You.॥धृ०॥
Divine sound of the flute in the meadows,
With golden lotuses and garlands of wildflowers around his neck.
When He arrives, his both queens (Rakhumāī and Rāī)
are doing aratees to beautiful Viṭhoba ||3||
Praise the Lord, praise Pāṇḍuraṅga, beloved of Rakhumāī and Rāī, O Lord! bless us who are dear to You.॥धृ०॥
When the arati is done,
The earthen lamps are floated in this river, shaped like a crescent moon
Devotees of Viṣṇu dance with their flags and banners
How can we describe the greatness of the whole scene in Paṇḍharapur. ||4||
Praise the Lord, praise Pāṇḍuraṅga, beloved of Rakhumāī and Rāī, O Lord! bless us who are dear to You.॥धृ०॥
On the auspicious days of Āṣāḍhī and Kārtikī Ekādaśī devotees come to Paṇḍharīpuraṁ
and bathe in the (holy) river Candrabhāgā.
By mere sight of Vittal, they are free of bondage
(Namadev is the author) is praying and performing this arati with devotion ||5||
